member: am looking to buy this bed I read that it scratch a floor. I would recommen Putting a large rug for the trundle so when you release it to to use it it won't scratch your nice floor especially wood floors. . Just an idea?

    2 yrs -just ok

: 2 yrs later. The bed needs something between the mattress and the base. It just does not feel sturdy as is. For a bed w/trundle it still is better then a traditional daybed due to it taking up less space but my 11 yr old was bouncing around and came down on the metal frame and smacked the back of head and ended up with a nice size welt. If this is for a small child i would look for something else or maybe buy pool noodles to add some padding. I do not like the trundle at all. Its not sturdy enough and does not stay in place like it should under the bed. We took the bed down and put up a full. Almost wish I didn't spend the money on this bed. Its ok just nothing spectacular and doesn't fit our needs anymore if you are looking for a daybed but don't want the traditional spring base type bed, this is it. I have a small room and my old daybed overwhelmed the room and could only be placed in one spot but with this bed, I was able to put the bed in another area and not feel crowded. I would get a very nice mattress for both the bed and trundle or put a bunkie board underneath both. Very easy to put up and take down.

    Not durable AT ALL!!!

Don’t buy this bed. It’s cute but I’ve had it less than a year and the slats and foundation have completely broken. And there was no crazy, wild “activity” on it and I don’t weigh that much. Also it has weird measurements so if you wanted to buy replacement slats/mattress support they won’t fit. Just don’t bother.

Colossal waste of money and time, and horrible customer support.

First off, this bed comes in three large, heavy boxes. Not a big deal at first, but this will come back later. Second, I was planning on putting this bed in a bedroom with hardwood floors that I just painstakingly refinished myself, so as I was beginning my assembly I was careful to add felt pads to the pieces I knew would be touching the floor. Again, more on this in a moment. As I opened thuis and started laying out and identifying the pieces for assembly I found that both the headboard and footboard, which are identical, arrived nice and scratched up. See the pics. I decided this was fine for me since one would be facing the wall, and the other would be mostly covered by an ottoman I planned on putting at the foot of the bed. So for now, no return or reason to contact . After getting about halfway through the assembly I found that the holes in the side panels didn't line up properly with the end pieces. This bed uses a commonly used hardware set where one piece has a post, the other a received sleeve that you tighten after the post is in the sleeve. I've assembled dozens of pieces of furniture like this for myself and friends. No matter how I tried to switch them up, swap headboard and footboard, etc, only three of the eight securing hardware sets lined up. Basically the holes were drilled/machined slightly off. I even tried without the other piece in place and the hardware wouldn't line up! By now I'm done with this bed. I've spent an hour+ just trying to make these misaligned holes work, not to mention the regular assembly time. Time to return this pile of crap to . Oh but wait, it's not that easy... So on top of my time I've now wasted around $15 on felt pads that cannot be reused. Ok, fine, I guess that's my loss and lesson learned to build first, felt pad later. Now it's on to repacking this beast into the three boxes it came in. 45 minutes and over an entire roll of my packing tape later (more money gone), the three boxes are securely packed up with all parts and hardware. I log into , get the return started, and much to my wonderful surprise, is offering free UPS pickup! Perfect! I was wondering exactly how I was going to pack all three boxes (50+ lbs each) into my car and unload them at the UPS store. So I plop them on my porch for the next day, and done! Done, right? Please? Nope. The next day the UPS driver arrives, moves one of the three boxes out of the way (literally shifts it to the other side of my porch) and takes the smallest of the three boxes. How do I know? Nest doorbell cam. Had I witnessed it in person I would have told them to take all three. Well crap, now what?! Will my return complete? Will I be charged still because only one of three boxes was returned?!? In a mild panic I contact . Oh, we're so sorry, no worries at all. We should have told you to just keep the bed (all of it) with our apologies and a full refund because it's a large item. Please feel free to keep, donate, or throw away the remaining two boxes. Keep or donate 2/3 of bed frame. How would that help anybody? Ok. Well then go ahead and just throw it away. Just set two 50+ lbs large boxes on the curb? That doesn't work either. We'll refund you in full. You can throw away the boxes (repeating it doesn't help) or contact UPS to have them pick up the other two boxes. Aha! There's my solution! So I contact UPS. According to them the pickup and return is complete, so they won't be picking up the remaining two boxes. Contact . Will my local garbage service take the huge boxes? Sure... with a special pickup request to the tune of $40 each! So on top of the time I've wasted on this piece of crap, cheap, poorly made bedframe, the money I wasted on felt pads and tape, and even more time fighting with customer service, I now have these two boxes sitting in my garage waiting for me to take an afternoon to open them back up, bust out a saw, and cut the parts into pieces I can fit in my normal trash. Avoid this product and company like the plague. What a horrible experience.

    Don’t buy

I bought this bed about a year ago.. sadly it’s already falling apart. I loved all the drawers since I have an old house with the tiniest closets.. this bed is on carpet.. The ends are loose (no matter how much the bolts are tightened) so the bed is no longer square. Which makes the drawers really hard to get into. That being said one of the front of one of the drawers is already stripped out. Every time you try to fix another piece of the bed the slats move under the mattress and then you have to hold the mattress up to try to put them back in perfectly.. if not another one moves and you have to start all over.. I guess what I’m trying to say is do your self a favor and don’t buy this bed..

    Buyer beware

I bought this bed for my 10 year old daughter and it broke after the 2nd night she used it. My daughter weighs 70 pounds. It’s a beautiful bed but don’t recommend it.

    2 missing parts, one damaged

I bought this new but the box arrived damaged and opened. One of the front of the drawers are missing and the back of the headboard. The other front of the drawer arrived damaged. Also the assembly manual is missing. I Will Update when I get the missing items.

It’s so small and heavy weird

I hate it should be advertised as a child’s bed
