Wonderful sturdy couch!

I love this couch! We looked and looked and finally decided to purchase this couch and we are so happy! Its sturdy, long enough for two people to lounge on and deep enough to sit comfortably. The cushion are nice and firm which is what I wanted. You sit up nicely and dont sink in so far that it is a struggle to get off the couch. Weve always had futon couches so this was a nice change. The color is aming and the lines are gorgeous. Easy to assemble and so sturdy!!! I cant say enough about how fabulous this couch is! its very comfortable

Firm and big!

We wanted big chairs to fill a spot and these are great. They seem well constructed and sturdy. I do agree that a soft pillow helps with the backrest. Overall we are very happy so far. The assembly was two pre/threaded holes in each leg. Easy peasy. They arrived packaged very well. I was surprised / ready with camera to take some pics to show damage butnone existed. Recommended Like it a lot

Striking and worthy

I love this sofa. Its a striking pice that really stands out. The cushions have held up after about a year with no issues. I scotch guarded it and so far no stains. For us (both about 56) , a throw pillow is necessary to sit up straight in it because its pretty deep, but Id rather have the extra depth than not. Delivered into the house and slid into place on a blanket, totally worthy purchase. Very very happy

Sturdy, stylish, affordable, and great to sleep on!

This couch is SOLID! It is so comfortable to sleep on. The height is great if youre tired of looking like youre ridin dirty on your sofa. The arms are low if youre taller and you will need plenty of cushions to lean comfortably. It is also shallow if youre a taller person or dont like to sit up as if youre in finishing school. Overall the style, sturdiness and price all.come together to be a great value for your money. Comfortable and sturdy

Great chair . fabulous delivery!

Although I will not say that this is the most comfortable chair, I absolutely LOVE the orangey/red look. Chair was easy to assemble, with only the legs to attach with screw sets. I had some back/and/forth with the company about the delivery time (their delivery times didnt suit my schedule), but it ended up working out great. The delivery guys were very courteous, attentive and friendly. what else can I say

Beautiful Couch

I got this couch because it has the look wanted. If seeing this couch speaks to you the way it did for me, then I can promise you wont be sorry. While quite firm, and probably great for a wide variety of social situations,this isnt the sofa you want for melting after a long day at work, or cuddling while watching movies. Nice color and easy to assemble

Definitely Recommend

I originally purchased this sofa in grey and had it for almost a year so I was familiar with the firmness and style. When we moved I wanted the entire engage set (sofa and two armchairs) in ure to balance out the cool neutral tones of the room. I purchased directly from StarSunDepot, one of the vendors I found here as they had a cheaper price. 1812 for the sofa and two chairs and that included tax and shipping! I was nervous purchasing directly from them but their customer service is amingly quick at responding and incredibly helpful and the price was lower as they didnt have to pay s fees (I assume). The furniture is indeed very firm with next to no give. Having owned a piece before I can say it does break in a bit but it will definitely take awhile to do so. The color I am absolutely in love with and so is everyone else who has seen it! The items came fully assembled with the exceptions of the legs which I had no issues with. They seem to be very good quality overall. They do require pillows to balance out the depth and firmness, but Im still quite pleased with this purchase and would buy them againor for a third time, really! Was pleasantly surprised

A bench has more give

This couch is very, VERY firm. It looks great in the space and it is well made, but it is not very comfortable. Good price as well

It looks good, but.

This couch looks very nice. The upholstery is heavy, seems durable, and in general the couch seems well made. As others have mentioned, the cushions are very hard. However, to me the strangest thing was just how high this sofa is. Im 6, and my legs barely touch the ground when Im sitting in it. The legs are long, which is odd for a mid century design. I plan on cutting a few inches off the legs once I work up the nerve to do it. Other then the height and the stiffness of the cushions, Im very happy with this purchase. However, Im using this in a room that doesnt get used very often, so I was concerned with esthetics more than comfort. If youre looking for a comfy couch to sit on while watching TV for hours, I wouldnt recommend this one. Great value
