Looks nice, very stiff and uncomfortable

Nice looking chair that is easy to assemble, however, this is one of the stiffest chairs I have ever sat on. If youre looking for a comfortable reading/lounging chair, this is a hard pass.

Black Bolts required to secure back to base

UPDATE: assembly instructions are confusing. States KD Black Bolts are for WallSaver Recliners. Ours is not a WallSaver even though item description says it is. YOU MUST USE THE BLACK BOLTS TO SECURE THE BACK TO THE BASE. Use my pics for reference. They dont just screw in; you have to get properly aligned before attempting. Was tricky to hold back in place and try to align Black Bolts. Not returning! The back comes off the frame when reclined. Today I fell out of the chair backwards when I leaned back and the right side came off. Wanted to like these chairs (I bought 2). They are big and comfy but pose a hard when reclined. Now to find out how to return them

Best choice for Big and Tall I love this chair!

I am 65 and 320 pounds, and this chair is slightly bigger than I need! It is very solidly built, weights 160 pounds, very comfortable with more than enough room. I assembled the back to the base myself, no tools needed, chair comes with the screws you need. Could not be happier with this purchase!!

    Almost perfect.

I only gave this 4because for me the seat is a tad too firm. Hopefully itll get broken in over time. The second thing is its reclining lever is a bit too short. Youll probably need one of these which worked out well for me. See my rating. The chair itself is very roomy and sturdy and should last a long time.

    Decent for the price

It was easy to assemble, but one of the pre/drilled holes was over/drilled which made the screw lose in it. Since there are three screws to secure each armrest, hopefully the other two will keep it in intact. The way that the back attaches is a bit precarious also, would feel more secure about it if you screwed that on as well. All in all, though, acceptable construction and quality for the price.

    Perfect modern look

Very easy to install! Perfect look, spacious, items as described. Theyre sturdy and firm, which is ok, I wouldve preferred a bit more softer seating, I added some fluff pillows for decor

Very nice chair! As described with much interaction with seller. Delivery personnel were kind and helpful. Recommended!

    Fabulous for a larger person

This chair was as advertised. It has height, easier to get up from. It was priced well (I did lots of research, and felt this was a good price for this item, I bought 2). Many color options, too.

    Totally in love

I was so nervous to buy furniture from without sitting on it first, but I didnt feel like driving around to different stores to look for a simple chair. I am SO glad I got this. It is so cute and comfortable. I love love love it!

Very Nice but an Adjustable Headrest Would be Perfect

I just replaced a recliner we bought from Big Lots with this chair. The covering was all peeling off so it was time to go. Now this chair is rated for 500 pounds. I weigh about 250 at 6ft and it is perfect. I almost did not buy this chair. We gave away two s a couple of months ago when we moved. I picked them up from at a great price and hated them a few months later. But since we were stuck I just dealt with it for too many years. So I originally said never again with . But then I did some research. As it turns outall oversized recliners are not created equal. I noticed that the two I bought previously were 48 inches deep. This one is 40 inches deep. So I took a chance, ordered this one, and that was the whole problem. The original chair was just too deep for me, at 6ft., to get comfortable in. And I would bet that some of the negative reviews are probably related to that depth issue. The chair is not soft. It is firm. Not too many companies, especially Ashley which will not even list a maximum weight, make a chair that holds 450 to 500 pounds. You have to expect a firmer chair to hold that much weight. When you flip it over and look at the springswell, I would say they are at least 10 times better than the cheap spring job on the Big Lots chair.Sealy, maybe.that we just tossed. I mean, this thing has SPRINGS, big boys, not just wires running across the bottom. I expect the chair to last since the two I had in my previous were going on 6 years or so and showed no sign of giving up. So my discomfort was all because I chose the wrong size chair which, as you probably know, is one of the curses of online shopping. The 8 inch difference in depth, on the seat, is huge. Yet my feet do not hang over any more than on the deeper chair. The width and height were about the same. I am kind of sorry I did not get the rocker/recliner which seems to be the same price. Maybe I missed it, or maybe just received new stock. But I would have preferred a rocker. Still in all, I can live with this one. As for deliveryonce again, in my area anyway, used NSD delivery. Which totally.Ill let you fill in the rest. I learned a few things after having them deliver a Generator from , so listen closely to your Uncle Joe assuming you also see NSD as the delivery vendor. 1. Dont bother calling NSD because they never pick up or return the message you leave. Never. Call an rep with any problems and let them liaison. 2. Same with e/mail contact. No replys. 3. Forget the delivery date lists. Aint happening. 4. Save yourself the grief and wasted days sitting at that I went through with the Generator delivery. You have to check the NSD website every day with your order number. When it says your order is on the truck for delivery.that is your delivery date, meaning you will not know until the same day. And dont expect a courtesy call. They called about 10 minutes ahead on the generator, and no call at all on the chair. Having said all that.many local furniture stores where I live now have very limited stock. The closest Ashley, Rooms to Go, larger places like that are around 60 miles away. seems to have plenty of stock from many different vendors. And the pricing, as always, is so much better. I do my part to shop local as much as possible. But if ya aint got what I need than gets the business. Quick addendum which I neglected to mention and should have based on some of the negative reviews. As I said earlierPAY ATTENTION to the model you are purchasing. You will see some of the reviewers complain about their feet being off the ground. Well, I am sitting on this chair right now and my feet are firmly on the ground. On my previous, 48 inch deep, recliner my feet were inches off the ground as well. That is due to the depth difference of the two models. Same with firmness. You should just assume that a chair which holds double the weight of most recliners will be firmer.
