It comes in two different pieces, ours came in two separate FedEx deliveries, two days apart. Putting everything together is pretty straight-forward and the instructions are simple and easy to understand. Comfortable and the price was right.

Minimalizing my apartment space is something i have been doing the past year. This involves reducing clutter by getting rid of some of my older more bulky furniture and replacing it with lighter and more minimal variations. What I mean by this is instead of having a desk with drawers I have several long and thin tables with total open space under them. This is also pet friendly for someone who has two cats such as myself. This kind of approach keeps bundles of stuff from gathering in drawers and forces me to be organized with documents and writing/books. With a futon couch I have encountered a great example of some thing that is right in line with my recent transition. The brand has created the perfect replacement for the bulky goliath couth that was basically 40 percent of my living space in my apartment. There are three main reason this is perfect for the space it is going in. The first is it works super well with a wood floor. With this being raised a good way off the ground I can easily send a mop or broom under there. This raised design gives me the ability to clean under there without moving a super heavy couch contraption. My cats love this because they can hide under there when it storms out. Another main reason for this being awesome is the light weight design. It is perfect in that it is not so light that it moves when you sit down with force, though you can easily move it up or back a few feet by sliding it for wanted adjustments. The third main reason I love this is the fold out option where you can transform it into a day bed with just a few clicks back like an old car seat. I had fun having one side up and the other down. I was very impressed with the easy set up. I would recommend having another person help you because when you go to flip the thing after installing the legs, as well as the middle support, you can risk damaging it with one person. I am used to doing this because I used to work at a hotel l where I mastered flipping something like this so I was able to do it without any trouble. Unboxing it also would be easier with two people. The installation of the four legs and the two middle metal support legs that double as braces took me about ten minutes. I spent more time breaking down the cardboard box. I am very happy with this futon combination couch and would of given it five stars except the cushion is a little hard and there unfortunately is a metal protrusion in the form of a screw that mildly juts out in the center and can be uncomfortable if you lay on it in a certain way. This is just in the center of the thing when it is in bed mode. When in couch mode it is perfect. This can easily be fixed by throwing down a memory foam pad or some other type of foam based sleeping pad. I like the grey color and fabric which looks professional. In the picture included you can see Bishop the cat trying to pull out the center node. Being able to pop down even one of the sides as I use the other for support, allows a pet such as Bishop to stretch out while laying next to you. Those two slightly detrimental things I feel are no big deal but unfortunately prevent this from receiving a full five stars. Four stars are a great rating though and I still recommend this.

Some assembly parts not packaged

This is a small, light, and reasonably comfortable sofa for occasional to moderate use. It is better for sitting. When lying down, where the four panels meet - it is very hard in that area so I anticipate needing a pad for sleeping guests. I am 5' 7 and fill the entire length, head to toe. The way the manufacturer hides the armrests, legs and pillows inside zip-up compartments within the furniture is a neat design, however, the screws, bolts, and washers were not packaged and were therefore just bouncing around loosely within the opening and behind parts of the frame. I had to use a flashlight and scavenge for the parts one at a time, and also had to pick the panels up and shake them over and over before they were all freed up so I could retrieve. I'm hoping this was a one-off mistake but if not, please secure these parts in a small durable bag of some type. The assembly also requires the attachment of a hinge where the two bottom panels meet. They provide a phillips head driver on the opposite end of the allen wrench but good luck with that - you'll need a drill as there are no holes pre-drilled for you. It really doesn't make sense to have a hinge here, since you're actually trying to prevent something from bending. It should have been a flat metal brace or just another leg like the others. The sofa is very easy to recline in part or in full, and the arms slide on and off easily.

Looks can be deceiving

Looks can be deceiving its very uncomfortable to sit on and the sides bend out of shape easily

Comfortable to sleep, sit and relax

This is a very comfortable futon sofa cum bed to sleep and relax. I have been using this sofa for more than a month with no issues so far. Futon is well made not so hard not so soft. Length of the futon sofa is 71, accommodates 3 persons easily with room for 4th person to sit unlike the regular futons which are small. Futon came well packed with two split parts and the legs, tools for assembly stored in the compartment below. Installation was easy without any external tools required. The sofa is made with cushion soft polyester fabric and suits any room. The legs of this futon have good height and gives enough room to clean under the sofa easily. It doesn't take too much space and is suitable for big and small houses. There are many settings to change sofa as bed, sofa, split-back and lounge. I was having a bad experience with the futon which I purchased earlier but this one is a nice surprise.

Decent but Devious

Its modern, convertible, easy to put together. U get what you pay for..that said; Dont sleep on it the bar inside seat goes down middle making it a better use for just a couch inside a game room, studio, den etc. Not a bedroom.
