Item received damaged, shipping container inadequate.
Bought this chair from through ToysOnline and ToysOnline has not yet made the right decision with regard to accepting the return of the item which was damaged in transit. All I got when I filed my claim was a form letter response and a shipping label, despite the fact that I said the shipping container was not able to be used to ship it back and I could not agree to their requirement that I provide all items or the credit would not be granted (Im not sure if all the parts are there or not since the container was broken during transit). You would think that a 548 heavy piece of furniture would warrant a heavy duty shipping container, with at least two boxes, one inside the other, but apparently ToysOnline does not think so. They shipped it in only a single box that is very flimsy. No wonder the box broke during transit. I bought a quad monitor stand (118) from a different vendor and it came in two boxes, arrived perfectly fine. ToysOnline needs to actually read their customers email rather than responding with a form letter and marking the claim resolved when it was not resolved. They also need to learn how to pack merchandise for shipment.
UPDATE : ToysOnline I found out has an F rating with the BBB mostly for delivery problems. Buyer beware / do not buy from ToysOnline. I wonder how ToysOnline escaped with screening process. I was under the impression that qualified their sellers.
