Nice fit and finish. I think it would be faster to go out into the forest, cut down a tree, mill it into lumber and then build bunk beds. WAY too many little pieces to save on shipping and manufacturing costs. Im a builder by trade and found it unnecessarily time consuming to put together. Nice product once assembled with good storage and has held up well though Overall, great value for the price.
