Pretty sturdy. Good size. I absolutely loved this bed for my daughter! All parts were present and accounted for and it went together super easy. I read the reviews and read a lot about oh there are no instructions to put it together heads up guys, there are no instructions with the LEGO sets either but you still put them together. So the instructions are easy to discern pictures that tell you exactly what screws to use and what goes where. It went together easy and looks very pretty! Good buy for the money!
