Sturdy, but you might have to wrestle it into submission during assembly.
This thing is very sturdy, but that means its also a bulky eyesore. The trampoline material itself is very firm and not very springy. Its advertised as folding, but that is misleading. In order to fold youd have to unscrew everything to break it down to hide away. The thing is, this took forever to put together in the first place (and I am not bad at assembly). Continually breaking it down to hideaway would be a huge, time/consuming pain in the butt. I read the reviews before purchasing and it was kind of a mixed bag, so be aware of that. So now it lives as a behemoth in my living room. The plus side of that is that it is a constant reminder to exercise.
When this trampoline first arrived and I was assembling it, there was a metal burr on one of the leg screws, like a wart. In order to screw on the leg, I had to file down the burr with a nail file, which took about 30 minutes / so that was super annoying. If I hadnt realized I could actually file down the metal, I would have had to return the product as there was no other way to get that leg on. A simple quality control check would have easily found that metal burr which leads me to believe this company might skip that important step in manufacturing.
Also, the assembly of the handlebar was slightly wonky and that made it extremely tight and hard to get on. I mean, mere millimeters and slight angles made a difference as I tried to wrestle this thing into place! What should have taken 5 minutes to assemble took another 30!
Putting this thing together was a workout in itself! Several times during the assembly I was terrified at the thought I might have to return it, because this thing is big as a boat and would have been a hassle to put back into the box.
I would skip this product if you want something to actually fold and put away when you have company, or you just want your house to look nice. If you buy it, I would keep the box for a few days until youre super sure you want to keep it. Recognize you might hit a few snags in the assembly and you might have to wrestle this thing into submission. If you want something sturdy, this thing is really great for that aspect and may likely last a long time. Would be great for a home gym or kids who might be really rough with it.
