This is a perfectly sized futon for my small office. Its easy to set up, and nice to use as a chair on occasion too. Its sturdily built. Ive had two guests so far; one liked how firm it was but thought it might be too firm for others. We got a 2-inch memory foam topper before the next guest came and they thought it was perfectly comfortable. I have a pullout sofa too, but for just one guest its nice to let them have their own space (and definitely more comfortable than those thin springy mattresses). I definitely recommend.
