Using this product to safely store my firearms. Arrived in good condition despite having watched the 105 pound UPS driver practically roll the 90 pound carton out the truck side door onto the driveway. No damage. Setup was smooth although the directions required additional reads and a couple trials and errors to properly follow all the sequences. Tested after programming and fingerprint reader only opens with registered prints. I suspect a few earlier poor reviews regarding opening with any print is related to improperly clearing the factory settings and improperly verifying correct programming. Same thing with the digital programming. You need to properly clear the factory presets in order to fully customize your code. I bolted it inside my closet with my own hardware due to my particular structural circumstances. Took me a couple of hours from opening the package to fully installed, secured, programmed, and filled with my gear. I expect this safe will keep my guns safe from curiosity seekers and perhaps a random break in/smash and grab. This safe is not intended or rated to deter the professional burglar with a good plan and the tools to effect it. That kind of security is quite a few steps up from this box in both design and cost. Also, Alan at customer service has been responsive with my request for the free door organizer and I am anxiously awaiting its delivery. I will update this review when it arrives.

Got my free door organizer a week or two ago and it is a nice addition to the gun safe. Creates some welcome additional versatility. All else is going great. I installed a small magnetic puck light that helps a good deal with visibility under dark circumstances. I would still recommend for the intended purpose. Fantastic and Sturdy.
