This island is BEAUTIFUL, and perfect for a 2 person breakfast bar
This island is BEAUTIFUL, and perfect for a 2 person breakfast bar. It took 2 people 2.5 hours to assemble. Putting together the drawers was by far the most difficult part. If they would have gone together easily (and the first time) I am guessing it would have only taken 2 hours. We chose to leave off the handle (which could be used as a paper towel rack, and the knife block because of limited space in our kitchen. There are some small holes where these would attach, but they are not overly noticeable when fully assembled. There was one problem with a hole not being drilled for one of the doors to be put on properly. It appears that the hole was mis/drilled and filled and never re drilled. We chose to leave it the way it is, though with a small drill bit it would take about 1 minute to fix. They say all you need is a screwdriver, I recommend a cordless screwdriver, and hammer (to pound the pegs for the shelves). Very happy with the quality of the product overall.
