The finished product looks exactly like the picture that you see online. I thought that assembly was relatively easy and the directions were not complicated. I completed assembly myself in about 3 hours though it would have gone faster with a helper. The product is very sturdy, all wood construction with a bright wood finish. The leaf is very sturdy and has ample room for 2 stools. Great for a breakfast or chatting area.
