This has a very strong odor, my son said it’s lacquer. If my son had hadn’t been here I wouldn’t have been able to put it together. Definitely takes 2 people to put it together. I got the oak and it’s pretty. As others have stated, some of the pre drilled holes aren’t lined up right for the hardware. A chunk is missing on the bottom of one side piece, about an inch long. But the odor is the very worst part, I have the doors and windows open and the smell is so strong it’s nauseating.
