So I've been looking for a dresser for quite some time and was having difficulty finding one I liked. I thought of renovating a used one but I did not like the styles or the prices I was seeing. This was a style and a price I was willing to work with.
As for the project itself I used sample colors from the hardware store which worked really well, on the inside of the drawers. Paint wasn't sticking well to the outside even after I did a sanding then paint test.
Well since at this point I could clearly not return it I got really creative and thought to camouflage the spotty paint. With a few layers of spray adhesive and glitter, the base color came through just enough. Added an acrylic sealer and loose glitter doesn't fall off.
I wasn't planning on having a glitter dresser but it adds some glamour to my room and was easy to put together after all the paint work.
Used this as a DIY
