Well, the headboard isnt the only thing curved. a quarter of the Wooden bars are warped. Thats why they ask you to use a mallet (or in my case, stomping with my shoe) to help assemble.
Ill give them credit for making it a very straightforward assembly with labeled parts and a visual booklet. Assembly took me an hour / sober
