Important part came in broken. Impossible to replace.

Product consists of two parts, bed and trundle.
Bed construction looks solid, nothing was broken. (I used s assembly option, so I cannot asses how hard it is to assemble). Trundle unit construction looks pretty flimsy. It lacks central plank (which exists in bed design).
The main problem of course is that crucial part of the trundle unit - face plank - came cracked right where it suppose to connect to side plank, making it impossible to assemble the trundle. Clearly a manufacturing defect - crack is going through the holes - a most likely place to crack in general.
I have contacted support about it. Usually return policy is great, but in case of large heavy packages like that, it does not work, since I would have to disassemble the bed and re-pack it - not an option. Packaging is too flimsy, and hard to recover to proper condition, plus disassembly is lots of effort.

I took the partial pay off and contacted manufacturer directly, asking for the broken part replacement, via their support email.
Got prompt, courteous, but useless response: contact and let them deal with that.
