Sturdy but shaky going up and down. Got this for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it. Its very high to the ceiling however, if she were taller shed have to duck down while sitting on the bed. The ladder is very small, not much room for climbing and the steps hurt. Overall I do like this product for space saving and giving the room a cool look.
My boyfriend put this together for my daughter btw and said its definitely a 2 person job. Its easy to assemble with 2 people and a little difficult with 1 person. Quality seems to be good so far
