The material is plush and pretty but I was really disappointed that the blue was so much lighter than the product photo displayed. It is more of an off blue (closet color I could find online was called air force blue) - I put my dark blue pillow pillow next to it to show the difference. On the plus side, the legs are true gold and its easy to assemble.
