We needed a bed frame for our guest bed room. My first impression of the queen size bed frame was that it is solid, heavy duty pieces.
The assembly process was easy I put the mattress together by myself in about 2.5 hrs. If you get someone to help you, it would probably take about an hour and half.
Make sure that you when your up to the last step that you start from the outside support planks and DO NOT TIGHTEN EVERY SCREW DOWN, it will make it hard to actually install screws on cross beams. You might have to manhandle (push down and pull towards outside of the frame) the crossbars on last step.
After it was assembled I was impressed with how sturdy this bed frame is. Its not too low to the floor so you can get under it and clean or store boxes underneath as well.
The queen size bed frame has a nice streamlined look to it. I have slept on it and it provides adequate support and does not require a box spring.
Just a queen sized box spring would cost you $150 for an extra 50 bucks you could have everything you need for the mattress.
