Very easy to assemble, no squeaks!!! I was worrying my mattress would slide off / took me a week to convince myself to give a try to a frame thats flat and doesnt have anything to hold my mattress in place and to my surprise it didnt move a single inch in 3 weeks Ive had it. My previous frame has rod to hold mattress and it would always slide down and it was annoying. Frame is solid / no squawks no nothing! I didnt need headboard so this was perfect / I put velvet wall panels all over my bedroom wall so this is perfect. HEIGHT / get this 14 one, 6/8 is way too low / I bought same frame with that height first and I felt like a twit sleeping every night, this height is very very comfy and I can even see stuff out of my window when I wake up because I am now higher
