Great desk made even better through one change

Ok, lets get this out of the way. The desk is awesome. There is plenty of room for nearly all my gear (except the 88-key digital piano, which is better off on its own stand in another part of the studio). Its sturdy, and the surface seems stain-resistant, which is perfect for messy musicians like myself. Now heres the thing. You may have read about how the leg space is limited with the keyboard tray. This is true. The height of the keyboard tray to the floor is 23. Not much at all. When I tried to use the desk, my knees kept hitting the tray. So, I took it off. Later on I got the idea to re-install the tray but this time being able to push it in instead of pull out. Problem solved! Now I have space for my knees when I need it, and I can also use the MIDI controller when I pull it out. It has enough of a lip when pulled out all the way for me to be able to adjust the faders and knobs in the back of the unit without any trouble. Also, make sure you have an electric screwdriver when putting this beast together. It will save you a lot of hassle.
