This has been great as a travel pen and addition to the ferrets cage. We set the pen against one wall then the other side on the adjacent wall. It worked really well. Gives our fuzzy girl lots of room to play when we arent home. We use this and the matching playpen cover when traveling for her to stay in.
She has never has never escaped except due to human error. This has stood the test of being loaded into a car, into the back of the truck, and taken to the park and yard many times. I havent seen any paint chips or rust.
The price is rather high but the quality is there. I recommend that everyone add this to their ferrets life.
If you are wondering, I believe you can totally use this as an all the time pen in a ferret safe room or house. The playpen cover (sold separate) does not fit amazingly like the picture suggests but it does do its job. Its a nice addition. I bought the two pack.
