I bought the low storage cabinet and was pleasantly surprised. Its a good value for the quality of the piece. Its actually made of wood and the finish on the natural grain is beautiful.
I took away a star because of a few issues:
1. There are two fairly large, transparent stickers with print on them on the front of each glass door. I cant see them on the posted image. A wood slat runs right through the center of each sticker. I tried to remove one and it became a much bigger issue, leaving a thick, gummy mess on the glass and a rough looking tear in the clear sticker. It has to be cut with a blade along the wooden slat to make a clean edge.I havent done that yet because I dont want to score the glass and create a weak point. I also have to get in there with goo gone or something to remove the sticker gunk, hopefully will not damage finish on wood.Ill update if there is breakage.
2. We had to drill our own holes in the back to attach the backing pieces. Instructions need to state that a drill is required. The instructions said insert screws into pre/drilled holes, but no holes were present. Not sure if we got one that was overlooked, or if they all ship this way.
3. There were extra holes in the center dividers for placing shelves that were unnecessary and unusable because they did not line up with any holes on the sides of the cabinet. Someone mentioned in an earlier review that they couldnt get the shelves to sit flat.Im guessing these extra holes were the reason.
4. Attaching cabinet doors was very awkward and required two people. Instructions should mention you need two people for some steps. Really Happy!!
Good value, some quirks
