Chair is sturdy, some split wood/rough edges along the front of the seat will need to be sanded. Its a really big chair, I am 5ft8 and it cuts me off behind the knees. My husband is 5ft10 and he says it does the same to him. So, not as comfortable as we had hoped. Otherwise it is comfortable and good quality.
