Very happy with the chair after finally assembling it.
Six months prior to my retirement and after 45 years sitting at a desk in the workplace my department was given new chairs with ergonomic mesh backs. It was literally the most comfortable office chair I had ever sat in. Now I purchased a new desk to work at home and I ordered this chair to go with it. I opened the box, matched all the assembly hardware with the list provided, read the instructions and then set out to put it together. Step 1 was screwing the arms to the back piece. Since the screws have a hex head I chose to use my own hex head screwdriver instead of the little tool that comes with the kit. Nothing should be easier than installing 4 screws, but after an hour of trying I couldnt get the threads to engage in the holes. I gave up and went to bed. Next day I decided to try using my flathead screwdriver instead of the hex head and it worked like a charm! Thereafter I proceeded to put the rest of the parts together and it went very smoothly. Lastly I went around and tightened all the screws down and now the chair is very sturdy and fits my body very comfortably. The only thing I dont like is the 4 little finishing caps that youre supposed to snap on over the screws on the back of the chair to hide the screw heads, but they dont fit tight and fall off. Minor problem. Ill get some glue to get them to stick.
