The frame is fairly simple to assemble and the instructions are average in how comprehensible they are; that shouldnt be a problem for most. My complaint is that the frame gets the bed 1 foot off of the floor, which is great to get some storage boxes to store sheets, comforters, etc while living in a small apartment. No. Not possible. The frame boards go down to leave only 6 inches (at best) to slide anything under and that really kills some of the practicality of having the bed frame, as I could have just left my bed laying on the floor and achieved the same result without laying out the money for the frame. And there really is no purpose, perhaps a little aesthetic value, to having the board drop down 6 inches. I would gladly take a 4/inch board and have some space for storage than 2 more inches of faux wood. Think before you buy.
Creates lots of wasted space
