High quality leather, I was not expecting them to be so soft! They are very light given their size and were extreamly easy to put together. Absolutely love them, they are perfect in my living room. Was a little nervous they were going to take a long time to get to me because the projected delivery time said up to 5 days with prime but they came in 2 or 3 days. Right before my dinner party. Beautiful and Sturdy.
