I just got this yesterday and am waiting on my mattress to expand so have not slept on it but wanted to comment on how easy this was to assemble. Every single piece is labeled so you really cant go wrong with assembly. The tools come with the kit and there are even spare screws of each size just in case you lose one. I am not sure about the colour of the brass but I can easily paint over it. Great deal and looks nice in my room. Value.
