Be sure to wash your hands before touching. My box was so dirty I didnt realize how much dark dirt I had on my hands. It transferred to the wood but was able to wipe off. Went to hobby lobby to buy personalized knobs. This is perfect for a stand with not a lot of depth but enough to decorate and hold lamp Decent for the price
