I was worried reading some of the other reviews, but finally went ahead and purchased. I am so glad I did! This was the easiest piece of furniture Ive ever put together and was finished within minutes. It is ridiculously lightweight. Like a person on each end could lift with one finger and carry. Definitely not real wood, but looks fantastic anyway! We put a bunch of kids books on it and it seems to hold them well. Big fan! We love it
