We have had 3 children sleeping on this bunk bed for a few months now (2 10/year/olds and a 4/year/old) and they really like it. Its sturdy enough for kids and may even be sturdy enough for a teen. The assembly process took longer than Id like, lots of steps! But the assembly instructions were excellent and clear. Were happy with this purchase. still feels plenty sturdy
