During assembly, there are some holes that have plastic linings for the screws to screw into. One of these was apparently not seated well in its hole, and the screw just spins it, instead of screwing into it. The screw went in halfway and we couldnt get it to go in any further, or even back it out, as the plastic sleeve just spun. We went ahead with the rest of the assembly and luckily that particular screw isnt visible or apparently integral to the sturdiness, as the stand seems sturdy enough without it. Seems like at least one other user had this issue with two different purchases so I hope the company fixes that. For any purchasers, see if the plastic things are loose before assembling, and if so, you may want to DIY fix it or return it.
The LED light is not as bright as advertised in the picture, but to be honest, I dont really want the light to be that bright since it would be distracting to watch with TV. The remote that came with the LED was bent but seems to work OK, and the cord that clips into the LED strip is finnicky (hard to get it to click) and needs a USB power block to plug into (annoying since we had to scrounge a block from somewhere else to use).
Its a lot better than the cheap $40 Walmart stand we had previously, which wasnt quite large enough for the TV and which shook when the cat jumped on it. Definitely an improvement over that, at least!
One minor assembly issue, otherwise decent
