I felt that the instructions, as long as you familiarize yourself with the parts and set them out beforehand, were quite easy to follow. I did encounter the one inch gap between my doors in the final step. Everything else went smoothly. After fiddling with the doors for a while, I realized that I had put them on incorrectly. The instructions are slightly confusing here in their depiction, but you have to slide the hinges OVER the mounts NOT through the mounts. Then, use the fourth screw that is closest to the door in the middle to adjust the top and bottom of each door accordingly to close any other small spaces left between the doors.
