I had a stroke in October and spent a month in the hospital. This chair has been my nest since coming home. I basically live in it. It is roomy and comfortable enough for me. My main problem is since the stroke I cant walk. Recently, for a change from just sitting in the chair I have scooted down in order to sit on the foot rest. I weigh around 140 lbs and Im hoping sitting on the foot rest wont break it some how. Im wondering if it is okay to continue to sit on the foot rest. Please email a response to
