I have serious mobility issues and getting in and out of my living room chairs have become impossible. I found this chair and it blends nicely with my existing furniture. However, its a blessing to be raised and lowered in and out of a very comfortable chair. I also appreciate the 3 positions because I have to elevate my legs for an hour a day but dont want to lie down. This allows me to sit up and elevate my legs comfortably. I advise anyone wanting a lift chair to pay attention to the dimensions so that the chair fits you properly. My chair fits someone 51 to 59 up to 300 lbs. Wonderful for my height and Im not worried about the weight because I have plenty of room in the chair.
