Dont be scared of the negative reviews. I have had this product for a few months now with no problems whatsoever, not even a minor scratch. I imagine people with problems either a) assembled it incorrectly, putting strain on the boards, or b) are giving it way too much wear and tear.
It looks just like the photo. Assembly took a while but it was well worth it. I definitely recommend. Value for money.
