I replaced the bed for a room that was my moms when we moved her downstairs for safety reasons and had to replace her very high antique bed for guests. I had a brand new full mattress so I went with full bed. To make it fit the high ceiling ms I needed a headboard with some height. Works perfectly. Seems sturdy enough for guests to me. How it lasts remains to be seen. Works well.
