This was the first Basic product I have purchased. It arrived well and in good condition. Putting the chair together was a breeze. Having an impact driver with a T30 bit was super helpful. Although it did round out my bit so I probably had the torque too high.
I picked this item over cheaper chairs because it was the only one that would be shipped before virtual school starts. For the kids it should do quite well.
All of the hardware was packed inside the back rest which I thought was both ingenious and disappointing. This means that there is zero back support and when i sat in it i could feel the frame was just covered by the material with no real support. Again, probably ok for the kids but not something i would likely find comfortable for an 8 hour work day. I suppose one could stuff the chair more with a pillow or filler off some sort.
Overall i am happy with the purchase but a bit surprised by the lack of back support.
