This is a really nice all wood piece. I planned to place the frame perpendicular to the wall so I was a little worried what the back would look like and I couldn’t find any good pictures. There was no need to worry - all the back pieces are finished and I’m quite pleased with how it looks (see picture of the back).
Instructions are straight forward, especially if you have put together other home assembly furniture. Assembly took me about two hours and there wasn’t anything particularly difficult, just a lot of pieces to assemble. Frame is put together in three sections: back deck, seat deck, and bottom frame, so plan to have some extra room available during assembly. Instructions state a second person is needed to install the back deck into the frame – you should get a helper for that step as the back deck is fairly heavy and you don’t want to get the frame scratched up.
Frame is quite sturdy and very comfortable. Overall I’m really pleased!
