Took 2 to assemble but did get male friend to help and that took some navigating.but once together , very stable and looks good. seat Cushions were very firm.but with few heavy friends and my dog.it is comfortable and now I love itmy read and tv place to be.my Australian shepherd runs across house and jumps on it .so is sturdy! Happy purchase!. good buy!
