The only thing I can really complain about is the steps on the ladder had kind of odd placement. There was a step that basically sat on the floor and a larger gap at the top by the mattress area. My husband fixed it where they are better spaced out so its not an issue anymore. Other than that, this bed is great. My son loves his big boy bed, and his fort underneath where he can play. and came earlier than expected
