We transitioned our 33 month old from her crib to this bed. She went right to sleep and stayed in it all night / no issues. We hyped it up a bit the week before and my husband built it while she was at daycare on a Friday so it was a fun surprise when she got home. It has ample space underneath for playing but isnt too tall /
less than 3 (safety). She climbs up and down the ladder no problem. A regular twin size mattress fits and we bought a lucid gel/foam twin mattress. Its very comfortable. Took my husband a little over an hour to assemble. He said it was pretty easy (good labeling). Definitely recommend! Its a fantastic price.
