The bed is good quality for the price! Thankfully no missing pieces and no damage at all (I was worried from another review). Hopefully a sound bed is the trend! My four year old loves it! I highly recommend you organize the parts, its a must! We are keeping the ladder and slide off until our foam mattress is fully raised (keeping the kid off until then). I took off a star because the outer packaging was damaged but mainly because we have not had the bed for long, time will tell. Our rule is no jumping and no hanging off the bed lol. The wood is sturdy, there is a medal bar in the middle of the platform to add more structure which is great. There is a wobble to the ladder but this can be solved with a matte under the feet.
