Smart design. I was a little nervous about ordering a piece of furniture online. But this folding bed is really great / it was easy to assemble and the transition from ottoman to sofa bed takes about 30 seconds. I dont think its very comfortable as a chair so we keep it as an ottoman. We live in a small space and my college son is sleeping on it while hes home for the summer. Its definitely very firm, so I got a fluffy topper and that makes it much comfier. Im not sure if you could really be comfortable without some sort of topper. My son likes it and he fits pretty well on it too (hes about 58).
