I fully intended the install of this to be DIY, but when I busted out the instructions and it was just photos and some metric measurements that werent entirely helpful (given that you can use any height door, the measurements arent super clear) I decided to just call in a professional. Even with my local pro handyman doing the job, this baby took a few hours. He also fashioned two little extended anchor points for the bottom, outside anchors. Im using bifolds that just cover the space, so if you went slightly oversize, you may not have that need. In the end, Im in love with how it turned out. It looks fantastic and given that its on a laundry closet and I dont have children or anything in my home that is rough on doors, I think its very sturdy and will work really well for me. In the end, factor in professional install costs. This ended up being a far more expensive project than initially anticipated, but it turned out better for it.
Exactly what I wanted!
