I wasnt sure based on the reviews but after a week of use by 1 adult and 2 children I give it 5 stars. Followed advice in prior reviews, put the thing together loosely and then tighten it all up, no squeaking. It took a couple hours max to put it together. For reference, the adult in bottom is close to 300lbs plus 80lb kid. No bending of the bars but we will add some plugboard eventually. The bed does wiggle some as someone climbs up the top bunk, but for less than 200 Im very pleased.
Edit/ some squeaking now. Will try tightening everything up so beautiful and wonderful
