My dog is afraid of her shadow. Even her tags on her collar hitting the bowl scares her and when that happened, she wouldnt eat! I ordered this to help make feeding a less stressful time of day, and now my dog is thriving. Her tags dont clang against the bowl and the bowls stay put (dont slide away which also scared her) Also, this is a small bowl set and is the perfect size for my 20 lbs beagle/chihuahua mix pup.
