The winder is really a stylish winder. The only real issue is that battery power only lasts for about three weeks, so battery use should only be used as a last resort with a good supply of batteries on hand. The instruction manual is a joke, it is more a listing of excuses for why your watches might not stay wound. It never explains what the different winding mode selections are, it is left up to the user to figure them out. If the Instruction manual explained that battery power was for use over short periods of time only (less than three weeks) and described the different winding modes I would give is a four star review and if the winder would run for 30 days or more on batteries Id give it five stars! Its fine.
