We put it together in no time but the bed was hard to get up to the top bunk and it was wobbly Im thinking because it is so wide there is no support to keep it from wobbling when you climb to the top bunk we added a ladder to help with the wobbling it has helped a little but it is still wobbly. I find it easier to get up to the top bunk without stressing the rest of my body climbing the ladder that came with the bed. The ladder that came with the bed is straight up and down with no flex ability. When I decide to get another bed I will not donate it. I will throw it away. I hope this information is helpful.
