Comfortable, easy to operate, stands a person up with ease. Great recliner.

My husband has Parkinsons and has much difficulty moving from sitting to standing. This chair works perfectly for that. It also is comfortable, sitting or reclining. One item to mention is that the leg rest is plenty long for him and he is 58; however, I think it would be quite short for someone much taller. Also he has dementia and the buttons are confusing to him, so I need to operate it for him. I think he would not be able to operate any button operated chair that has four separate buttons, so that is a very minor item, but someone should not buy this for a demented person expecting that they can operate it. Also, make sure the chair is far enough away from the wall when the back is reclined. My husband immediately hit the back recline button and punched a fist sized hole in the wall. To the chairs credit, it did not damage the chair at all. I take this as a sign that the chair is extremely well made! And the motors seems quite capable of all the movement needed to lift the person to standing, to lift the leg recliner, and to lower and raise the back. I am extremely happy with this chair. Dont over think it, youll love it!!
